#5 – Green Tea –
This is another great iron chelator with many energy boosting, anti-cancer, anti-oxidant, catechin, etc., etc., etc., properties.
My Dad’s Tip
My Dad actually showed me a little trick that he does, I think, more out of habit to get the most out of every tea bag. I’ll tell you though, it works great.
As per my instructions, he put 1 tea bag to 1 cup of filtered water, brought then to very hot (do NOT BOIL the water though) and let it steep. (You can always make a batch that can fill a few pint jars and keep them in your refrigerator to have on hand.) You can let it steep for an hour.
